Students will make work in a variety of media to develop skills and an artistic voice that will demonstrate their strengths and potential to portfolio reviewers. This will include materials like graphite, charcoal, and acrylic paint, as well as other materials the student is interested in. We encourage students to participate in our annual art exhibition and/or contests. Art colleges typically require a portfolio of 15 to 20 pieces.
